always in motion

Life has been hectic in Rue land, and I apologize to everyone waiting to adopt a Lumpling that it has taken me so very long to make a new herd!

I have a new herd almost ready...about a dozen of them.  I'll get pictures ready of them next week.

I've just switched to a mac and I'm still learning all of the quirks.  The amyrue site is about to be overhauled, but maybe not in time for this new herd to launch.

One of the obstacles in my way is that I haven't been able to transfer all of the email addys on the amyrue mailing list to the mac as a separate list!  So at this point I really don't know just how I'm going to email the list with the adoption news.  I might end up putting all of the names and addys in by hand.  Er, there are over 500 names on there!

We are hoping that switching to a mac will end all of my email woes.  On my pc I was getting about 800 spam emails a day!  It was overwhelming.  So if you have emailed me in the past six months and never heard from me...it was probably lost in all that crazy spam.

Oh! We took the kids to see Mr. Magorium's and unfortunately didn't spot the Lumplings.  Well, Hans claimed that he saw one, but I didn't!  But we waited around to the very very end of the credits and saw a wee thank you to Amy Rue which was pretty neat.  I know that we will get the dvd and comb through the shop scenes in slow motion!

Amy, It is so good to see you up on your blog again. I've missed you. I would love to know the story of how your lumplings ended up in this fabulous movie. I have seen lots of ads for it on TV and look oh so hard to see if I can spot a lumpling.
I'm looking forward to your update.
Best wishes to you

Karen

Amy, my son just started working for Apple and he told me that their tech people are wonderful. Contact them...they can help you do whatever you need to do on your new mac. In fact, they can give you a code to hook one of the "geniuses" up to your computer to actually show you how to do it. Hope it saves you many hours!
You can connect to a genius via the Apple website. Good luck

I saw your lumpling I think, Its right after the new accountant was hired, He and Mr M were standing infront of the tall shelves and Mr M walks away followed buy the accountant, Its right after the sock monkey is reaching for him, look down to the far left and its a light green lumpling with something in the left hand I could not make out what it was, also the lumpling did not have a face, I think they may have had his face turned into the shelf and the back of the lumpling facing the camera.

Amy, how many did you send and did you send a light lime green lumpling?

Better add some more. The tall shelves have loads of toys on them.

Hope this will help you spot your lumpling.

Good to see your babies are making it big in the movies, I own 3 of yours. Bought them 3 years ago.
